Maverick City Music Releases New Christmas EP

Tribl Records celebrates the reason for the season, with the release of GRAMMY® Award nominated, Stellar & Dove Award winning, Maverick City Music’s brand-new Christmas EP, A Very Maverick Christmas – featuring holiday favorites and original songs. A Very Maverick Christmas is available now wherever music is sold and streamed digitally.

A Very Maverick Christmas was recorded live at Atlanta’s historic Paradise Baptist Church (started by a slave). The brand-new Christmas EP features a celebration of Maverick City Music’s original songs and beloved holiday favorites. A Very Maverick Christmas features signature vocals from Naomi Raine, Chandler Moore, Lizzie Morgan, Brandon Lake, Phil Wickham, Ryan Ofei, Tianna Horsey and more; plus offers an all-star lineup of collaborations featuring the voices of: Natalie Grant, Todd Galberth, Melvin Crispell III, Isaac Carree and more.

Fresh off their 52nd GMA DOVE Award wins, for Worship Album of the Year and New Artist of the Year. Now, Tribl’s #1 best-selling record-breaking collective, Maverick City Music, has received five GRAMMY® nominations across the categories, Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song, Best Contemporary Christian Music Album, Best Gospel Album, Best Gospel Performance/Song. Additionally, Maverick City Music artist Dante Bowe received a Best Gospel Performance/Song solo nomination for his single “Joyful.” This fall, the collective completed their first headlining tour, Welcome to Maverick City Music and appeared on daytime talk show, The Nick Cannon Show, in which they inspired the audience with the song, “Man of Your Word.” (watch performance here). During the Fall of 2021, group member Aaron Moses, appeared on the daytime talk show, THE REAL, during Hispanic Heritage Month.

Maverick City Music made extraordinary headlines with their release Old Church Basement, a collab album with Elevation Worship, which broke streaming records at both Apple Music and Spotify. On Apple Music, the group set a new worldwide record for the most first-day streams for a Christian and Gospel album, and on Spotify, the album broke the U.S. record for the most streams in a day for an album by a Christian group and was #4 out of all U.S. albums its first weekend of release. Old Church Basement features vocals from celebrated singers: Chandler Moore, Brandon Lake, Naomi Raine, Chris Brown, Dante Bowe, Tiffany Hudson, Joe L Barnes, and Amanda Lindsey Cook.
