EPL: Solskjaer wants 8 players to leave Man Utd before 2021/2022 season

Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, wants to offload up to eight first-team players this month, according to ESPN.

Jadon Sancho has already arrived this summer from Borussia Dortmund and Real Madrid defender, Raphael Varane is close to joining.

However, United would have to balance the books by sanctioning some sales.

Up to eight first-team players could be allowed to go if big enough offers come in

They are Anthony Martial, Daniel James, Jesse Lingard, Brandon Williams, Diogo Dalot, Alex Telles, Phil Jones, and Andreas Pereira.

While some of the departures wouldn’t come as too much of a shock, others, such as Martial, would raise one or two eyebrows.

With United lacking strength in depth in forward areas last season, ditching squad players like James, Lingard and Martial may leave Solskjaer’s side short on goals if injuries strike.
