EPL: Jack Wilshere hands Arsenal name of player to sign

Former Arsenal midfielder, Jack Wilshere, has urged the club to sign Chelsea striker, Tammy Abraham.

Abraham has been heavily linked with a move to Arsenal this summer.

The England international is expected to leave Chelsea this summer, having fallen down the pecking order since Thomas Tuchel’s arrival from PSG last January.

Asked whether Arsenal should sign Abraham, Wilshere told talkSPORT: “Yeah. Yeah, I would I think.

“We [Arsenal] need goals [this season].”

Former Chelsea star, Shaun Wright-Phillips added: “The only thing is Arsenal don’t play the way Chelsea play.

“When you go to certain teams, you have to try and fit into that system. They are not going to change the system to fit you.

“But they need someone to score goals. At the minute they play well, they don’t score the goals and then the other teams go up the other end and scores and then it is the same old Arsenal. If they take the chances, the game pans out completely differently.”

Meanwhile, Chelsea are close to signing Inter Milan striker, Romelu Lukaku this summer.

And that could see Abraham leave Stamford Bridge to another club in a bid to get regular playing time.
