Zach Williams Recovering From COVID-19 Infection At Home

Multi-award-winning artist and songwriter Zach Williams shared on social media this week that he is at home recovering from a COVID-19 infection.

Williams was set to perform on August 3rd at K-LOVE’s “Live At Red Rocks” concert event but had to pull out because of the infection. Bethel Music’s Cory Asbury filled in for Williams at the live event which also featured Casting Crowns, We Are Messengers, CAIN and Brandon Heath. Asbury honored Williams with a few lines of “Chain Breaker” and the whole crowd joined in to record a get well soon message for Williams.

“Laying here tonight recovering from COVID and I get this video in a text,” Williams posted. “I am reminded of that feeling of joy that comes over me each night when we sing the words from ‘Chain Breaker’ – and now as I’m hearing others sing them. God ALWAYS has a perfect plan. He still uses the words he put on my heart for his glory—even when I am laying in bed.”

Williams concluded the post by saying he is feeling “much better” and plans to return to the road soon. You can keep updated with Zach’s tour schedule here. We wish Zach a fully and speedy recovery!
