The moniker “Music That Makes Jesus Loud,” sums up the popular worship leader whose music is heard on a global scale. The passionate advocate of raising young disciples to worship, Yancy says, “I have a faithful commitment to the promise in scripture that the worship of children is power-filled. I am honored and excited to bring home the Dove for this important message that children’s worship matters! The Little Praise Party series is something I am extremely proud of and hope it continues to offer the opportunity for children to open their hearts and sing loud.

The “Ready Set Go” project has been such a journey for me filled with forgiveness, revelation, invitation, faith, walking in obedience, trust, provision and healing. It all started with visiting the Ark Encounter near Cincinnati, a life sized replica of Noah’s ark. The obedience that Noah modeled in such a huge, mind-blowing ask from God made me realize how I was putting off this project that God had asked me to do, all because I was focused on the reasons it couldn’t be done instead of letting Him make it happen once I start started moving forward. This award was the cherry on top and God throwing confetti down!” she concludes.

Growing up with a family legacy of children’s ministry, Yancy is the daughter of children’s ministry pioneer, Jim Wideman. That tight family connection has influenced her unique perspective on championing the voice of children of all ages.

Yancy has produced hundreds of songs that make Jesus loud. She has traveled the globe performing family concerts and leading worship. Her Dove Award winning music is all the things kids love and everything adults value. As a songwriter, she’s even written the number one song, “I Don’t Want to Go,” recorded by Avalon. She loves the local church and is a powerhouse at training and resourcing leaders to lead and teach kids to worship. Yancy credits the GMA educational programs that she attended as encouragement, networking and confidence to pursue this passion. Bringing home a Dove is such a cool and full-circle moment on the journey that started years ago at an event that led to a growth-moment for Yancy.

Continually a popular worship resource in churches and homes around the world, the “Little Praise Party” series is focused on inviting young hearts to a relationship with Jesus by beginning a foundation of theology through the discipline of worship. “Little Praise Party” features animated music videos complete with on-screen lyrics, designed specifically for preschoolers and younger elementary children. They are  perfect for  sing-along fun in the car, at home or at church.

Yancy has also authored the new book “Sweet Sound: The Power of Discipling Kids in Worship” to help children’s ministry leaders in churches create a rhythm of worship. Its message is the cry of her heart and ministry.

Additionally, Yancy created “Heartbeat,” a five-lesson curriculum that highlights David’s example and heart of worship. Developed from a passion to teach kids the heart of worship, these lessons have been a game-changer for churches across the country, impacting their kids with a new understanding and higher level of participation in worship.

The Little Praise Party music series is distributed via Elevate Entertainment (physical products) and Syntax Distribution (digital music) and is available everywhere music is streamed, downloaded, and sold in stores.
