Getty Music Releases Two Highly Anticipated Projects Ahead Of The Sing! Conference

Iconic modern hymn writers Keith and Kristyn Getty are thrilled to debut their version of the classic hymn “It Is Well With My Soul” today. The powerful song is featured in the film Sabina: Tortured for Christ, the Nazi Years, produced by The Voice of the Martyrs to tell the story of their founders, Richard and Sabina Wurmbrand. The timely movie deals with persecuted Christians and is particularly poignant at this moment in the world. The cinematic video, shot in Northern Ireland, will premiere September 24, 2021.

Sabina: Tortured for Christ, the Nazi Years will premiere at the Getty’s annual Sing! Conference and is releasing world-wide Nov. 8-10, 2021. Keith and Kristyn will also be performing “It Is Well With My Soul” for the first time during the event.

Getty Music is also adding to their extraordinary week with the release of, Almost Home, the second album from hymn writing team Matt Papa & Matt Boswell. Papa & Boswell are the prolific writers of “His Mercy Is More,” which is in the top 50 most sung songs in America. Monday night, Papa & Boswell will perform their entire new album at the Sing! Conference.

The world-renowned conference is back this year as an in-person event at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, TN from September 13-15, 2021. Worshippers who cannot make it in person can attend virtually as the conference is broadcast across 6 continents and translated into 12 languages.

In addition to the movie premiere and album performance, the 2021 Sing! Conference will also include dozens of plenary and breakout session talks from trusted expositors, inspiring worship led by leaders from around the world, premiere concerts each day and many exclusive experiences. The speaker list features a diverse roster including John Piper, Karen Pence, Chris Tomlin, David Platt, John Lennox, Voddie Baucham, and many others.

Other highlights over the three days will include:

  • Performances of classical music by a choir, orchestra, and several renowned soloists, including a sing-along of Handel’s Messiah
  • Practical workshops for artists, pastors, musicians, choir directors, children’s ministry leaders, and audio/visual technicians
  • Every attendee will receive arrangements of 30 timeless hymns over the upcoming year to use in their churches and families
  • Sing! Global Conversations: A series of premiere interviews with thought leaders in the arts, music, and Christian culture

This year brings the theme “In Christ Alone” and it is also the 20th anniversary of the iconic hymn.

The Sing! Conference has become one of the most popular worship events in America in recent years. Organizers have spent months planning how to rebuild the event from the ground up after the COVID pandemic to inspire a global audience with theological and artistic excellence, while ensuring a collective and immersive experience for viewers.

According to the conference organizers, “This conference is unique in that it brings together leaders, artists, and pastors to deepen their worship in local churches by rooting it in Scripture, history, and vibrant artistry. In a broken world, now is the time to restore spiritual health by rekindling the imagination through poetry, music, and artistry. And for the sake of our witness, now is the time to reunite as God’s people to sing and proclaim to all nations that our hope is found in Christ alone.”
