You have been Mighty – Esther Ijeh

Nigerian Gospel Music Minister Esther Ijeh is out with her latest single titled “You have been Mighty” is an expression of deep appreciation, admiration and sense of awe of God’s fatherhood, faithfulness, underserved love, protection and unrelenting support over us

According to the singer “I have seen God do speechless things in my life so much so that it’s difficult to doubt His mightiness.

The big question for me is not what God has done or what He can do?, because His ability to do the impossible is boundless. The big question is what can I give in appreciation? Nothing else will do only my worship.

My worship is a symbol of my commitment and devotion to God. It is a proof of my deepest appreciation. King David the psalmist in Psalm 51:17 put it this way: “The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise”.

Indeed God in my midst have been mighty and what I do for the Lord and because of the Lord and for His kingdom is a token of my appreciation and a symbol of my worship.

‘You have been mighty’ is written and sang by Esther Ijeh and produced by Lucky Joseph also known as Low-keys!

YOU HAVE BEEN MIGHTY

LYRICS OF THE SONG:

My father in heaven

Hallow be thy name

For all that you’ve been to me

Verser 1:

There are days I fall short of your will for my life and I thought,

I thought I lost it all

Lord you came through for me in ways I can’t explain

Your grace sought me, yes it did sought me out.

Verse 2:

I was found by your love Lord

I was rescued by your help

Snatched from the strong arms eh! of Satan’s grip

CHORUS:

You have been so mighty towards me e e

You’ve been so awesome in my life

What can I bring to you..Lord!

My worship!(2×)

Lord you’ve been good to me

And you’ve been faithful!

I am nothing without you

Your love has brought me through it all

How can I live without you

How can I stand without you

My redeemer saviour and friend

(Repeat chorus)

Lord I give you my all

My redeemer saviour and friend

You mean so much to me

Am nothing without you

Lord am nothing without you

I cease to exist without you

You’ve been…

So awesome

So mighty

To me
