Early Life & Musical Beginnings
Born into a musically inclined family, Wuni’s love for music was evident from a very young age. Interestingly, she was named “Tracy” after renowned American singer-songwriter Tracy Chapman. Her musical journey began as early as two years old, when she began singing and displaying her natural talent.
Recognizing her potential, her parents enrolled her in piano lessons at age 10. After a year of formal instruction, Wuni took ownership of her musical growth by learning online and seeking mentorship from local musicians. Soon, she began serving churches in her community as a pianist, particularly those without instrumentalists—a role that deepened her faith and artistry.
Raised in the Assemblies of God denomination, Wuni started ministering as both a worship leader and pianist at a young age. She served at Grace Pentecostal Assemblies of God, Soul Winning Assemblies of God, and several other churches across Ghana.
Calling, Inspiration & Leadership
Wuni began writing songs at just 14, experiencing divine inspiration that often led to spontaneous lyrics and melodies—sometimes in dreams, other times in everyday moments. She drew early influence from worship icons such as Ntokozo Mbambo, William McDowell, Micah Stampley, and other gospel greats whose music resonated with her spiritual walk.
In high school, she founded and became the first female president of the school music band Best of the School Band, a group that still thrives today. Through this initiative, she fostered a culture of worship and created a platform for other students to explore and share their musical gifts.
Global Ministry
In her post-secondary years, Wuni became involved with OVERFLOW INC, a global music community originating from Ghana. After relocating to Canada in 2015, she was appointed Head of OVERFLOW INC Canada, expanding her reach in ministry while connecting with the global gospel scene.
Wuni has since served as a worship leader in various provinces, beginning in Winnipeg—where she led worship at Church of Pentecost, NextGen Worship Centre, and Redeemed Christian Church of God. She currently ministers as a Worship Leader at Calvary Worship Centre in Vancouver, British Columbia.
Her journey has brought her into collaboration with renowned gospel artists like Phil Thompson, MOG Music, Daniel Ojo, and Theodora Bessem. She continues to draw influence from legends such as CeCe Winans, Tasha Cobbs Leonard, Juanita Bynum, and William McDowell.
Music Career & Achievements
Wuni debuted as a recording artist with her single “JESUS” in April 2022, followed by “This Kind Love” featuring MOG Music in February 2023. In December 2024, she launched Seasons of Worship with Wuni, a powerful worship series designed to cultivate a spirit of prayer and reflection among believers.
She also hosts a weekly Live Worship session every Friday at 10 PM PST on Instagram, offering consistent moments of virtual worship and encouragement. Most recently, in February 2025, she released her latest single, “ALL I WANT.”
