Who Is Pastor Taiwo Adeyinka? – Biography

In this write-up, we’ll take you on a quick biography of Pastor Taiwo Adeyinka, the founder and director of the Christian media brand TAIWO’S PROPHECY. Our focus in this write-up will be on the basis of his new ministry and his pastoral calling. While we may not necessarily tell so much about him, we could simply tell enough to enable readers understand enough about his pastoral calling and ministry.

Pastor Taiwo Adeyinka was once a member of the Seventh Day Adventist church, but he is now severed from the church. (Seventh Day Adventist is a protestant church with believes that emphasizes on the nearness of Christ second coming and on Saturday as the Bible Sabbath. They adopt the protestant Presbyterian polity form of church government).

According to Pastor Taiwo, he had a very ill experience in the church, the Seventh Day Adventist church Nigeria. He was opposed and fought so bad and so long till God intervened and separated him from the church. He was called out of the church to fulfill God’s great end time purposes.

Quick Introduction Into Who Are The Seventh Day Adventist

The Seventh Day Adventist church sprang up from the Adventists movement, a movement which is typically called Millerite movement. The movement started at the beginning of the nineteenth century; a time unlike previous centuries, whereby there was loss of secular power by the pontiff of Rome due to lack of support from world powers.

At that time, there was like a simultaneous religious interest in Europe and America on the closeness of Christ second coming. The movement was more marked in the United States. There in the USA, the movement was initiated by a man called William Miller after he discovered that the Scripture text of Daniel 8:14 that says “Unto two thousand and three hundred days, then the sanctuary shall be cleansed” pointed to the year 1844. The Adventists believed Christ’s second coming was to happen that year and that triggered a great religious movement and awakening. But Christ didn’t come that year and the people were greatly disappointed.

Later on, through earnest and prayerful study of Scripture, it was discovered by some that the event to take place that year 1844, in harmony with the prophetic text of Daniel 8:14 wasn’t the second coming of Christ, but rather the initiation of a work of judgment by Christ our High Priest in the sanctuary in heaven. They mistook the sanctuary to mean the earth and the cleansing of the sanctuary to mean Christ second coming to wreck vengeance and judgment on earth. But rather, the cleansing of the sanctuary pointed to a work of investigative judgment in heaven by Christ our High Priest for the removal of the sins of the saints registered in the heavenly records. It serves as Christ’s concluding or closing work as High Priest in heaven before His second coming in the clouds of heaven. By the time Christ comes the second time, judgment will be over and every case would have been decided. Christ says of His second coming, “behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.” Revelation 22:12.

Scripture speaks and prophecy concerning the judgment. It says,

“Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.” Revelation 14:7.

“I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire. A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened.” Daniel 7:9 – 10.

“And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.” Revelation 20:12.

The Adventists movement, the great disappointment and the establishment of an end time church (that later became the Seventh Day Adventist Church) to prepare the world for the second coming of Christ has been found to have a lot of Bible prophetic fulfilment such as;

• The three angel’s message of Revelation 14:6 – 12 that talks about the judgment, the churches and the Sabbath.

• Revelation 10: A very elaborate fate on the true end time church. Revelation 10 serve as a revealing or unsealing of the closed portion of Daniel 12 that deals with the end time. Daniel 12 testifies, “But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased… And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand… But go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days.” Daniel 12:4, 9 – 10, 13.

The book of Revelation typically serve as a revealing of future events and also a revealing of the sealed portions of the book of Daniel relating to the world’s ending period. The Revelation was given from God as an instruction to men concerning future events in the experience of the church till the close of the world’s history. Bible says of the Revelation, “The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John… Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.” Revelation 1:1, 3.

• The last three churches among the seven churches in Revelation chapter 3. The seven churches in Revelation are symbolic of God’s church at different point in history. And the number 7 signifying fullness or perfection illustrate the different state of the church consecutively from the time of John to the end of time. The last three churches illustrates summarily:

  1.  Church Of Sardis represents the Adventists movement; a revival and preparation for the day of the Lord in a time when the church was absorbed in worldliness and pleasure seeking. “I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead. Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God. Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.” Revelation 3:2 – 3. Compare 1 Thessalonians 5:2 – 6; Revelation 14:7; Luke 21:36, 34 – 35, 31; Matthew 24:42 – 46.
  2. Church Of Philadelphia represents the establishment of the end time church. Scripture says, “These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth; I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it… Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.” Revelation 3:7 – 8, 11. Compare Matthew 25:10 – 13; Revelation 22:12, 20; John 14:3.
  3. Church Of Laodicea represents the apostasy of the end time church. Christ says, “Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.” Revelation 3:17, 20. We’ll see more on this last church as we continue below.

• And more. There are other Bible prophetic fulfillment of the Adventist movement and the end time church.

Later on, many of the views held by noble pioneers of the Seventh Day Adventists, and that wasderived through earnest and prayerful study of Scripture such as the judgment, the sanctuary truth, the Sabbath etc were confirmed by God via visions and the gift of prophecy through a young lady then called Ellen G. White.

(LITTLE INSIGHT ON THE GIFT OF PROPHECY WHICH ACCORDING TO THE BIBLE IS A DIRECT TESTIMONY OF JESUS, OR IN OTHER WORDS, THE VERY WORDS OF GOD:

According to the Bible, all true prophecies will be centered on the testimony of Jesus and will perfectly be in harmony with other Scriptural truths. Bible says:

“For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.” Revelation 19:10

“To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.” Isaiah 8:20.

And the dragon… went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.” Revelation 12:17.

All the books of the Bible where prophecies or testimony of Jesus are found were always spoken by prophets who were moved of God. And note, not all books in the Bible are written by prophets. Some are full of counsel that are Holy Spirit inspired like those written by Solomon. Others are divinely inspired narratives of sacred events such as the books of Ezra, Nehemiah, the Gospels narratives etc. But those great portions of the Bible where prophecies or testimonies of Jesus are found are always given through a prophet who serve as the mouth piece of the Lord. Such testimonies may be found in books written by a prophet or referenced in a narrative. Scripture says;

“And he said, Hear now my words: If there be a prophet among you, I the LORD will make myself known unto him in a vision, and will speak unto him in a dream.” Numbers 12:6.

“For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.” 2 Peter 1:21.

“Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.” Luke 16:29, 31.

“And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning Himself.” Luke 24:27.

Said Jesus “Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.” John 5:39.

1 Thessalonians 5:20, 21 tells us to test all prophecies and “hold fast that which is good” as they are many false prophets and prophecies (1 John 4:1; Matthew 7:15 – 16; 2 Peter 2:1) teaching heresies and unscriptural truths in these end time. E.G White visions and prophecies pass the test of a prophecy that is a pure “testimony of Jesus” and fully in harmony with Bible or Scriptural truths. She is a prophetess that exceptionally fulfills the Bible criteria for a true prophet in this our times. Evidence of her Biblically accurate prophecies can be found in her book “The Great Controversy” and her other writings).

“Thus the doctrinal foundation of the Seventh-day Adventist Church was laid in the faithful study of the Word of God, and when the pioneers could not make headway, Ellen White was given light that helped to explain their difficulty and opened the way for the study to continue. The visions also placed the stamp of God’s approval upon correct conclusions. Thus the prophetic gift acted as a corrector of error and a confirmer of truth.” – Trustees of the Ellen G. White Estate.

But for nearly 200 years since 1844, the Seventh Day Adventist church today isn’t the same church that was so grounded on the Word of God and grew so strong and powerful under God’s blessings. The same Scripture that through its testimonies faithfully prophesied the noble rise of the SDA church in the message to Philadelphia (Rev 3:7-13), same Scripture also testifies to the fallen and apostate state of the church in the message to Laodicea (Rev 3:14-22), the last of the seven churches.

Pastor Taiwo Adeyinka And The Seventh Day Adventist Church

As we’ve said before, Pastor Taiwo, who was a convert to the church while a youthful and teenage scholar, had a very ill experience in the church, the Seventh Day Adventist (SDA) church Nigeria. He was opposed and fought so bad and so long till God intervened and separated him from the church.

And although we may not want to capitalize or emphasize in this write-up on the struggles Pastor Taiwo experienced in the church, yet for useful insights into some of the struggles he experienced while in the church; check out the following link below.

According to Pastor, the real cause or the root behind the opposition or contention between him and the church is the fact that through God’s grace, he trusted implicitly to God’s word and God’s power was with him. They were not willing to trust God fully. They allowed human wisdom and consideration to control them. Their religion was formal and their standard human. And such religion or standard could not yield the fruits of the Spirit nor transform the human nature. Bible religion only can transform the character. “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.” “Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD.” Proverbs 3:5; Jeremiah 17:5.

And its people who follow the Bible that are the real SDA in contrast to the apostate, formal and cultic state of the church that seems to forget that Christ and His word should be the center and focus of Christianity at any given point in time. From the apostolic times, every revival or reform ordained of God has and will always be grounded and founded on the word of God. So it was in the apostolic times; so it happened with Luther and his contemporaries; so it happened with Calvin and his collaborators; so it happened with John Wesley and his fellow Methodist at the time of their rise. Like the apostles, a faithful church will always “contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.” Jude 3.

The Holy Scripture is a perfect and inspired will of God. It’s a fully sufficient revelation for faith and action. The church should ever be subjected to the voice of God speaking through His word. And the Holy Spirit should be the only interpreter of the word. And so, every man, through the study of the word of God should learn his own duty by himself. No church or human authority whatsoever has any right to rule or control the conscience. And so, those multitude of Christians who seem to pledge the keeping of their souls to their church leaders/clergy, or those, who could give no other reason for their faith except what they were told or instructed by their church leaders are engaging in a most fearful work. This is because ministers are human and erring. Only through the word of God can we test and be sure that their counsel is from God. Those who allow the influence and counsel of their church leaders or clergy, or even close relatives to turn them from the word of God are risking the concerns of their salvation to the conclusions and disbelief of others. And unless they repent, there would certainly be eternal consequences. “There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, But the end thereof are the ways of death.” Proverbs 16:25.

Bible says, “the entrance of thy words giveth light; It giveth understanding unto the simple.” Psalm 119:130. The study of the Bible refines and sanctifies the soul. Willingness to study the word, bringing us in contact with the Holy Spirit, expands the mind and increases the vigor of the human so that every feeling and thought becomes more noble and elevated. Such elevating power as the Scripture will impart can’t be found in any other form of education. “Fear the LORD, and depart from evil. It shall be health to thy navel, And marrow to thy bones.” Proverbs 3:7 – 8.

And so, all the moral characters and physical traits that through God was catching widespread attention to Pastor Taiwo is due to the power of the word and training of the Holy Spirit. Yet, in harmony with God’s will in preserving simplicity, it was best to stay quiet and avoid display and artificial excitement. Natural quietness and simplicity has more advantages to spiritual strength as well as to physical strength. Like Jesus, they enable one grow and “increase in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man” through the power and blessing of divine grace. Luke 2:52.

But faithfulness to the word could not fail to bring the true follower of the word in conflict with falsehood as it did happen between Pastor Taiwo and the SDA church; something the gentle young convert never intended nor foresee at first just like earlier advocate of the word or early reformers.

Pastor Taiwo

Conflicts With The Seventh Day Adventist Church

Light and darkness has and will never blend, even as Christ says, “Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.” Matthew 10:34. SDA here choose to over exalt their opinions at the expense of the word of God. And to advocate and uphold the word and the truth is to oppose and overturn falsehood; and vice versa.

Christ in His time rebuked the Pharisees by saying, “ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition. This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; But their heart is far from me. But in vain they do worship me, Teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.” Matthew 15:6, 8 – 9.

“Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone… Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell? Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city.” Matthew 23:23, 33 – 34.

“Christ foresaw that the undue assumption of authority indulged by the scribes and Pharisees would not cease with the dispersion of the Jews. He had a prophetic view of the work of exalting human authority to rule the conscience, which has been so terrible a curse to the church in all ages. And His fearful denunciations of the scribes and Pharisees, and His warnings to the people not to follow these blind leaders, were placed on record as an admonition to future generations.”
E.G White, The Great Controversy, Page 596.

The real reason behind their lack of communication with Pastor Taiwo as highlighted in the link above is because they knew that Pastor was standing on the Scriptures and they their policies and tradition. And should they dare engage in voicing out their opinions to him, their wrongfulness would be so apparent as it’s well known that he is well-grounded with Scripture with a God blessed teaching and eloquent ability. So they stay aloof trying to use their authority to force him. And seeing he refuses to comply, and attempting to maintain their position at all hazard, they accuse him of extremism, disunity, fanatism, stubbornness etc. Scripture says “For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.” John 3:20.

And as it typically happens, the vast majority who refuses to take the necessary effort to search the word for themselves, or those who refuse to accept the pure truth of God from His word due to inconvenience or reproach or whatsoever reason will prefer to accept with gullibility the false accusation of those who dare stand for the truth of God. And so, due to the prevailing errors in the church and the harsh criticisms, under God the persecuted young Pastor had to forbear andremain silent in order to stay faithful in their midst.

Pastor is noted to have an unassuming nature; in spite of so many blessings from God. And during his pastoral degree, the blessings on the things he did and accomplished through God drew great attention to him even as a youthful Pastor. But that only motivated the church the more to try to compel their opinions on him.

One of those accomplishment was a God inspired concert that he initially planned with the church at first, but later had to withdraw from them and organize the concert with non-Adventist students to save the God inspired concert from jeopardy. Under God, the concert became so successful that it caught the attention of the whole school and beyond. The link of the concert may be found below;

Later, the church tried to make Pastor restrictive to themselves and to shun interactions with non Adventists. And it’s not as if they were willing to befriend or communicate with him even if he were inclined to do so, their motive was an attempt to pressure him to conform to their opinions.

And even the restrictive or cultic behavior itself was a total unscriptural thing to do. Bible teachings encourages mingling to be a light in the world, the believing man or woman must be the channel to communicate to others the riches of the grace of Christ.

And so it was that with their common signature ostracizing style of opposing the exceptional advocate of truth, they added and pulled all forms of intrigue and deception to the apparently lonely witness of the Scripture faith in other to lure him into conformity. But meekness is no criterion for anyone to be trampled upon. They probably fail to realize the fact that it’s the same spirit that’s been in opposition and hatred to the truth of God in all ages that’s behind their opposition to the exceptional Pastor. And that such opposition is commonly what happens whenever truth is rejected. By their acts, they choose wrong over right, darkness over the light.

But in spite all and through the grace of God, Pastor was lifted above every unpleasant pressure springing from their influence to force him to conform. Through God’s help, he was not to lean on human support that fails, but on God’s powerful arm in perfect safety. “God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear.” Psalm 46:1 – 2. Standing on the sure foundation on the word of God, God Himself bore witness that the faith that overcomes the world is greater than all the powers of error combined together. “For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.” 1 John 5:4. Gates of hell and all the mighty power of Satan can never prevail against the word of God.

SDA felt that Pastor being alone and friendless would yield easily. But God defeated them on his behalf. Truth is stronger than error and will always overcome it. Whatsoever is done by the will and counsel of God and not man cannot be stopped, and if it isn’t God’s will, cannot be forwarded. “Not my will, but thine, be done.” Luke 22:42. Only that which has God for its foundation and bound up with His purposes can endure. Whatsoever it is that isn’t bound up with God’s will and expresses His character, regardless of its greatness, speldour, outward or worldly glory will “as the flower of the grass” certainly “pass away.” James 1:10.

Pastor Taiwo’s Separation From The Seventh Day Adventist Church.

And so, due to their continued sadistic and intolerant influence of shunning interaction and expecting conformity in opposition to the faithful advocate of Scripture, it became inevitable under God that separation from them had to be the only solution to maintain a clean conscience in worship. The Christian is obligated to maintain his/her faith and stand decidedly for God’s word and honour regardless of opposition, hatred and persecution. By the true people of God, an unchanging firmness and faithfulness will ever be maintained towards His law and word.

The persecuted pastor’s isolation and loneliness, similar to those Christians in the dark ages that found refuge in seclusion and obscurity due to the great persecution endured by them from the papal hierarchy (Revelation 12:6; Luke 21:17), was permitted for the benefit of the truth. As God was with Pastor and they couldn’t break his faith nor shake his stand, the persecution and isolation he endured only empowered Pastor for the fulfillment of God’s glorious and gracious purposes.

Amidst the solitary opposition, the young Pastor’s piety became fervent and pure; and opportunity came to worship God sincerely with a peace that brings joy and happiness. Pastor trusted in the promises of God who’s the source of every favor and blessing and of every comfort. And God who never fails His people did not fail His servant.

Through His servant who serve as representative and example of truth, the Lord could very well exalt and prosper His truth beyond measure. Through the God blessed example and popularity of the truth advocate, truth triumph exceedingly. The majesty and power of God’s righteousness over the mighty power of Satan was clearly manifested to all. God never needs nor depends on majority. Through the few who believes in Him, trust Him and are faithful to His purposes, He often exalt His cause and carries forward His work with great honour. So it happened with singular Noah, Caleb and Joshua, Joseph, David, Daniel and his three friends, and even Jesus and the disciples etc. Also in the times of the reformation and in the times of the advent movement, those faithful ones who heard and obeyed God’s voice were not in the majority. God often times doesn’t work with the majority, but whatsoever the number that stays under His Omnipotent arm and find in Him their refuge will find in God a constant majority. Also, with the unnumbered and more powerful angels of God at the side of the saints supporting, encouraging, and bringing blessings and hope to the saints, all forms of earthly glories or greatness becomes meaningless in comparison.

Thus it was that under God’s providence, Pastor Taiwo was finally called out of the church.

Pastor Taiwo Outwith The Church

Pastor Taiwo Outwith The Church

After withdrawal from the church, through God’s grace Pastor held fast his allegiance to God by continually trusting in Him. It wasn’t pride that separated him from the church, but God’s own merciful providence, and he trusted in the Lord fully for light and grace to keep him cheered and blessed outside the church. Amidst worldly and circular influence, the Lord led and sustained his end time truth advocate. Pastor, under God became a bold advocate for truth and was faithful in maintaining the Bible principles. He persisted in keeping the Sabbath and the health principles fully.

In his separation from the church, Pastor had to start afresh with a totally new experience; learning a new profession and mingling with non-religious people after years of unappreciated and unrecognized devotion. But it was God’s hand that was leading him and Pastor trusted his case joyfully with the Lord. All through times of conflict and persecution in all ages, God always keeps and give succor to His church. The Lord never forsakes His people, His all-knowing or omnipresent eye has foreseen all the opposing forces of darkness that can ever rise against His trusting and obedient people. And His all-powerful arm overrules all the forces of evil that may befall, so that regardless of all, God’s gracious purposes will be fulfilled. No evil power can destroy God’s law or church. Truth is sustained by God and the gates of hell cannot prevail against it; truth triumphs over all.

 Taiwo’s Prophecy

So long as the people of God maintain their faithfulness and loyalty to God regardless, be it in prosperity or in hardship, the Lord will always be by their side. He acknowledges them as His and He honors them. “Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine. When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.” “Them that honour me I will honour.” Isaiah 43:1 – 2; 1 Samuel 2:30. Faithfulness is what counts; the servants of Christ are to regard their Christian faith as a high honor without compromise whatsoever.

The Lord was with Pastor and favored him. As with Daniel and his friends whom because of their true and strict devotion to God and practice of self-denial, God blessed and “gave themknowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom: and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams;” so did it also happen with the youthful end time truth advocate under the leadership and guidance of the Holy Spirit. Daniel 1:17. God blessed this youth with prophetic gift and in constant connection upon God and His word only, Pastor Taiwo was empowered to unravel Bible prophecy in the clearest and purest manner. Also, by adhering strictly to God’s principles and seeking to honor God only, God blessed him like the Hebrew youths with “knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom,” and he quickly excelled in the media and film making profession he had defaulted to.

 Taiwo’s Prophecy

Bible says, “thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.” Deuteronomy 6:5. Determination to stay true to the truth regardless, justbecause it’s the right thing to do will bring divine power and gracious victories. Those who with firmness of decision and watchfulness give themselves to the Lord and seek with all their heart to fulfill His purposes will attain the divine favour and blessings. They will also manifest the goodness of God, and the love of Christ. It’s God’s will that the purity and light of heavenly grace should shine forth from the believer in God in clear contrast with the unbeliever.

Pastor’s fanatical ostracizers and their influences did not just sit and allow him thrive without hindrance. His separation and withdrawal from the church drew forth a lot of criticism to the young Pastor; both from the SDA church and from without. Many were quick to quote the Bible text that says, “not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is” and that for no reason at all should a servant of God leave the church. Hebrews 10:25.

As at the time of separation from the church, Pastor withdrew from his mother’s house to live with his friends and colleagues. And attempt were made by the church as they saw God’s blessings attending him to bring him back to the church where obviously shunned from communication and socialization, he can’t progress as he did after he left the church. They felt that at least he should go back to his mother’s house where he had more limitations and would thereby be more inclined to heed their opinions. Yet, in all their attempts, they still maintained their typical ostracizing behavior.

But the Lord who’s pre-eminent continued to watch, protect and lead His servant. And Pastor continually trusted in the Lord, the only source of his strength and to look up to Him for help and guidance. Like Nehemiah, his heart was stayed upon God and could say, “The God of heaven, He will prosper us” Nehemiah 2:20.

Satan is the real spirit behind the criticism and opposition to Pastor here. And jealousy for the freedom and liberty Pastor gained by withdrawal is the real motive behind their criticism and opposition to his separation. And so, under satanic influence, they endeavored to thwart God’s plans and hinder His work. By their tone of ridicule and their false opinions against the advocate of truth, they were condemning Christ Himself in person of his servant. “And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.” Matthew 25:40.

In times of opposition like this, God’s people are to continually go forward, doing God work in trust without selfishness nor fear, neither are they to despise their enemies. And although, perplexity may come from enemies who attack them with taunts, threats and opposition, and distrust may come from professed or pretending friends who engage in snitching, backbiting, treachery and gossiping; yet, God remains a surest defense if his people continually depend on Him. God will utterly make futile all the plot and counsel of Satan. Bible says, “if God be for us, who can be against us?” Romans 8:31. We are to pray and watch with greater determination and courage; and commit to the Lord’s hands His own cause that we stand for, saying with Nehemiah, “Our God shall fight for us” and our faithful God will surely give complete victory. Nehemiah 4:20.

Like Nehemiah, when enemies misconstrue our words and action and seek collaboration with treacherous friends to try to allure the true servant of God into compromise, and away from perfect trust in God’s guiding arm, God’s servants response should be, “I’m doing a great work and I can’t come down.” Nehemiah 6:3. God’s worker should keep on with their work and not allow the enemy divert them from God’s work and cause hindrance or setback. Though they should determinedly avoid the traitors and enemies and counter their attacks, yet, they should not allow themselves to be distracted from the Lord’s work, rather, they should watchfully continue their efforts and allow truth they stand for counter the lies that malevolence could scheme to hurt them.

Pastor Taiwo In SADOG (Sons And Daughters Of God)

During the course of Pastor Taiwo’s separation from the church, the young Pastor was led by the Spirit to engage in a powerful ministry in an online platform called SADOG (Sons and Daughters of God).

Pastor was invited to preach on the forum by Pastor Temitope Adesanya, the founder of the group. There, the pure word of God was preached faithfully and the Spirit of God accompanied the message and the word was with power.

Pastor Taiwo In SADOG (Sons And Daughters Of God)

Through the manifestation of the Spirit, pure end time truths were preached and through the power of the word, the platform prospered and increased quickly under God. And through the unity and harmony among the members of the group, and the favour of God, Pastor Taiwo became director and then president of the group in few months.

Under God’s guidance and leadership, the group was reorganized. In God’s wisdom, a new official image was created. And through God’s blessings, the forum increased from one group till four groups became active.

The End Time Or Present Truth Calling

To understand the Bible clearly, a sincere and full contextual study of the whole word of God is important. We need to make the Scripture its own interpreter.

There are many evil spirits in the world today spreading around many false doctrine to ensnare souls. To study the Bible, one needs a prayerful, humble and teachable spirit, otherwise the plainest and simplest as well as the most difficult Bible passages will be isolated from their true meaning. The Bible should be studied with a honest and sincere desire to know the truth whatever the cost, otherwise, whoever desire to shun the self-denial or sacrifice it demands will be deceived. Bible should be studied as a whole to avoid misrepresentation of its teachings. Anyone who refuses to search the Scriptures with contrition and earnest prayer for divine guidance will most likely be deceived. Christians can only grow in truth only as they earnestly seek for truth like the most precious treasure. Scripture says,

“If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.” John 7:17.

“Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” John 8:31 – 32.

“Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, and with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: that they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” 2 Thessalonians 2:9 – 12.

It’s a most fearful thing to reject the testimony of Jesus as found in the word of God. As God has always had present truth in all ages, so does He have also in our times. In Noah’s day, the present truth message was ‘get in the ark,’ and those who refuse to heed the message lost their saving grace and perished in the waters of the Flood. In the times of Abraham and Lot, the present truth was to flee Sodom, and those that rejected the message lost their salvation and were destroyed by the fire from heaven. In the time of Christ, those that rejected Christ as the prophesied and promised Messiah and continued with the Old Testament typical system lost the blessings of the gospel. Christ said to them, “Your house is left unto you desolate.” Matthew 23:38. Said Jesus to the Jews as they rejected the present truth for their time, “Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.” John 5:39. Same testimony of Jesus who’s Infinite Power prophesied concerning the last days, that those that reject the present truth from the word for the last days will be left to the delusions and deceptions of Satan. Scripture says, “because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: that they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” 2 Thessalonians 2:10 – 12.

The present truth message in our time is to prepare God’s people for the day of the Lord. The resent truth serve as an important truth among all the precious truths of the Bible as it serve toshow our stand in these our times, this last days, according to the word of God, and to strengthen and prepare believers for the critical soon coming of the Lord. And these present truth messages for the last days constitute the prophecies of the book of Revelation and the closed or sealed portion of the prophecies of Daniel.

In these books are messages of vast importance in the history and experience of the church. They were given by God during Bible times to instruct men of future generations. And most especially do they outline events to happen during earth’s closing history, the very time in which we are living in. The study of God’s purpose in both Revelation and history will enable us see things around in the true light of eternity and thereby appreciate those things we see aright for their true value. Jesus says of the prophetic books of Daniel and Revelation, “the wise shall understand” and that “whoso readeth, let him understand.” Daniel 12:10; Matthew 24:15. Scripture testifies of the prophetic books,

“But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased. And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand. But go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days.” Daniel 12:4, 9 – 10, 13.

“The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John: Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.” Revelation 1:1, 3.

And so, with all these in view, and with the solemn times in which we live in, we need to put effort in turning our mind away from fables. While errors that are fatal and dangerous to the soul are effected on the mind, it cannot appreciate and assimilate truths which will enable and prepare the people of God for the day of the Lord. “Thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.” Deuteronomy 6:5. It’s our duty to keep our minds from being distracted with false doctrines, rather, we should have more thorough knowledge of Scriptural truth and thereby understand our position more clearly and be accustomed and assimilated with the present truth. Also, we need to make the word of God and the testimony of Jesus be in our minds continually and allow them crowd out all worldly thoughts and cares. Now, before the “time of trouble” and “the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world,” is the time to make our stand sure and acceptable in the sight of the Lord. Daniel 12:1; Revelation 3:10. Time is very short and will be over very soon. The most important thing to do in this closing time is to search the Bible and live and act in expectation of the coming of Christ.

Preparation For The Time Of Trouble

Scripture testifies that a troublous time awaits us just before Christ second coming and now is the time to set our hearts aright with God and lay up our treasure in heaven, in preparation for the time of trouble. Scripture speaks of that fearful time of trouble that happens just before the second coming of Christ, the day of the Lord. Concerning the time of trouble, Bible says,

“And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book. And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.” Daniel 12:1 – 2.

“Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.” Revelation 3:10.

And concerning the day of the Lord that comes immediately after the time of trouble, Scripture says,

“For the day of the LORD is great and very terrible; and who can abide it?” Joel 2:11.

“Shall not the day of the LORD be darkness, and not light? even very dark, and no brightness in it?” Amos 5:20.

“The great day of the LORD is near, it is near, and hasteth greatly, even the voice of the day of the LORD: the mighty man shall cry there bitterly. That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of wasteness and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness, a day of the trumpet and alarm against the fenced cities, and against the high towers.” Zephaniah 1:14 – 16.

“Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it.” Isaiah 13:9.

Only those with pure hearts and actions will stand in the time of trouble. Now, while the angels of God are mercifully holding the winds of strife before that troublous times is the time to have the law of God in our minds and written in our hearts. Hebrews 8:10. Now is the time to have the seal of God in our forehead as the people of God before the sealing time is over. Scripture says,

“And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree. And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.” Revelation 7:1-3.

The time of trouble is going to be a time to depend fully or put our trust completely in the Lord for sustenance. That time is a time when the powers of the earth unite to war against the law or commandments of God. And non-conformists with be persecuted with cruel penalties and punishments. Bible says, “and that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.” “For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty. Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.” Revelation 13:17; 16:14, 15.

While “trouble such as never was” will come upon the world, the Lord will not forget any of His faithful and self sacrificing children. Daniel 12:1. Angels of God will protect the righteous and provide for them. God’s people shall not lack or suffer hunger; the compassionate and allpowerful God will provide food and water for His righteous ones. There is danger however of letting our hearts and minds be filled with worldly entanglements, thoughts and cares that there’s no room in the heart for the Bible and the present truth. And if the mind is occupied with other things, the essential Bible truth cannot thrive and is shut out, leaving no place for preparation and receiving the seal of the living God in our foreheads. Scripture says concerning God’s care for His people during the time of trouble;

“He that walketh righteously… he shall dwell on high: his place of defence shall be the munitions of rocks: bread shall be given him; his waters shall be sure.” Isaiah 33:15 – 16.

“When the poor and needy seek water, and there is none, and their tongue faileth for thirst, I the LORD will hear them, I the God of Israel will not forsake them.” Isaiah 41:17.

“The LORD is thy keeper: The LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand. The sun shall not smite thee by day, Nor the moon by night. The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: He shall preserve thy soul.” Psalm 121:5 – 7.

“Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, And from the noisome pestilence. He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: His truth shall be thy shield and buckler. Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; Nor for the arrow that flieth by day; Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; Nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; But it shall not come nigh thee. Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold And see the reward of the wicked. Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, Even the most High, thy habitation; There shall no evil befall thee, Neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.” Psalm 91:3 – 10.

Christ Himself comes to deliver His people during this fearful time. He will manifest His power on behalf of His righteous people by His second coming and deliver them. Scripture says,

“And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.” Malachi 3:17.

“For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: In the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.” Psalm 27:5.

“Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast.” Isaiah 26:20.

“Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.” Revelation 3:10.

The word of God, warns and calls upon the people of God to arouse from their carelessness and spiritual stupor and seek the Lord’s face with sincere and humble repentance in expectation of that fearful day;

“Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand.” “Therefore also now, saith the LORD, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning: and rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the LORD your God: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness.” “Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly: gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts: let the bridegroom go forth of his chamber, and the bride out of her closet. Let the priests, the ministers of the LORD, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare thy people, O LORD, and give not thine heritage to reproach.” Joel 2:1, 12 – 13, 15 – 17.

“But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that day should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.” 1 Thessalonians 5:4 – 5.

“Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth.” John 12:35.

“Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.” John 8:12.

“Go… Teach All Nations”

Christ is coming the second time for only those that earnestly seek Him. Only “unto them that look for Him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.” Hebrews 9:28.

Bible says everyone who believes in Christ or who has received Christ and the pure truth from God’s word is called to work for the salvation of his fellow men. The whole church or body of believers is under the Bible obligation to call people to Christ and not just the ordained minister. Regardless of anyone’s position or calling in life, whoever hears and responds to Christ’s voice is to make it his/her primary purpose in life to call others from this dark, cold world of sin back to Christ, into the fold of the great Shepherd. Bible says,

“And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.” Revelation 22:17.

“Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” Matthew 5:14, 16.

The command to spread the light of truth and to win souls for Christ comes as a serious warning and responsibility from the Bible,

“So thou, O son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore thou shalt hear the word at my mouth, and warn them from me. when I say unto the wicked, O wicked man, thou shalt surely die; if thou dost not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand. Nevertheless, if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it; if he do not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.” Ezekiel 33:7 – 9.

Taiwo’s Prophecy Production

So it happened under God and through the leadership of the Holy Spirit and with Jesus blessings, that a new brand was founded on the authority of the pure word of God. “No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD.” “Therefore, behold, I will this once cause them to know, I will cause them to know mine hand and my might; and they shall know that my name is The LORD.” Isaiah 54:17; Jeremiah 16:21.

Taiwo’s Prophecy is a Christian media brand empowered by God to unravel Bible prophecy in the clearest and purest manner. Though they claim as a brand that not only they have the potential to understand Scripture pure and perfectly, yet thus far, under God’s favor, they’ve been shown to be able to analyze Scripture and Biblical prophetic interpretations in a clearest and purest manner.

“In harmony with the present truth and the end time call to prepare God’s people for the day of the Lord, we are longing to do an elaborate analysis on all the essential Scriptural and prophetic truth that God reveals to us to spread the truth and to prepare people for the day of the Lord. Also, as a Christian film making ministry, we would also like to shoot an elaborate documentary on all the prophetic truths in Daniel and Revelation that God reveals to us to give more visual and clearer representation of God’s present truth or end time truths. And so, we encourage support and sponsorship to our ministry to spread the pure truth of God. We in Taiwo’s Prophecy, assure pure, clear and honest truths for anyone who seeks truth with an honest, sincere desire and purpose.” – Taiwo’s Prophecy Production Team.

Concluding Remark: From The Taiwo’s Prophecy Team

“We intend to start our presentation of truth with the controversial truth of Michael who’s Christ, but whom most Christians in Christendom believe to be an angel due to the confusion and heresies springing from the lost texts. It’s one of those deceptions of Satan to confuse God’s people from the truth and draw and deceive them away from God.”

QUICK OVERVIEW OF MICHAEL AS JESUS CHRIST;
There are only five references to Michael in the Bible and they are in the following texts: Daniel 10:13, 21; 12:1; Jude 1:9; Revelation 12:8. First of all, we’ll start with Revelation 12:7.

  1. Revelation 12:7: “And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels.” Revelation 12:7.

This texts takes us to the origin of sin and explains why Jesus as Michael being God and allpowerful didn’t destroy Lucifer in heaven when Lucifer first rebelled.

God didn’t destroy Lucifer in heaven in His infinite wisdom though He could have done that most easily because the nature of sin wasn’t clearly apparent to the heavenly creatures then. Had Satan and his angels been destroyed in heaven, rebellion would have come up again among the heavenly angels. Satan’s lies and deception could not have been completely uprooted like that. But since Christ death, all heavenly beings seeing the extreme sacrifice of God through Christ and the nature of Satan and sin as a liar and murderer have been reconciled to God. Christ says;

“Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the PRINCE OF THIS WORLD BE CAST OUT. And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw ALL men UNTO ME.” John 12:31 – 32.

“Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more; of judgment, because the PRINCE OF THIS WORLD IS JUDGED.” John 16:10 – 11.

“Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, He also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death He might DESTROY HIM THAT HAD THE POWER OF DEATH, that is, the DEVIL.” Hebrews 2:14.

It’s this insight about angels that Bible talks about in Revelation 12 whereby it starts with the fall of the angels and moved to Christ’s death and then it says; “And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for THE ACCUSER OF OUR BRETHREN IS CAST DOWN, which accused them before our God day and night.” Revelation 12:10.

The “loud voice saying in heaven” here is talking about angels. They call the faithful ones among humans their “brethren” (Rev 19:10; 22:9). Satan’s accusations have no more weight on them. Since Christ death, Satan is well ripe for destruction and he knows that sooner or later, he’ll be destroyed. Check out this continuing verse;

“Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, BECAUSE HE KNOWETH THAT HE HATH BUT A SHORT TIME.” Revelation 12:12.

After God in His wisdom destroys sin and sinners this way, then all His creatures will be willingly reconciled to Him as His justice and mercy is clearly manifested. Sin will never spring up again. Scripture says;

“He will make an utter end: affliction shall not rise up the second time.” Nahum 1:9.

2) Daniel 10:13: “But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia.” Daniel 10:13.

Daniel 10:13 references Christ as one of the chief princes. Chief princes here is talking about the leaders of the two opposing forces of light and darkness; that is Christ and Satan. As Christ is the prince of light, so is Satan the originator and prince of darkness. Scriptural references of Christ as prince of light,

“Him God has exalted to His RIGHT HAND TO BE PRINCE AND SAVIOR, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins.” Acts 5:31 NKJV.

“But I will shew thee that which is noted in the scripture of truth: and there is none that holdeth with me in these things, but MICHAEL YOUR PRINCE.” Daniel 10:21.

“Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the SON OF MAN STANDING on the right hand of God” Acts 7:56.

“At that time shall MICHAEL STAND UP, the great PRINCE which standeth for the children of thy people” Daniel 12:1.

“It is CHRIST that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the RIGHT HAND OF GOD, who also maketh intercession for us.” Romans 8:34.

“To him that overcometh will I grant to SIT WITH ME IN MY THRONE, even as I also overcame and am SET DOWN WITH MY FATHER IN HIS THRONE.” Revelation 3:21.

Scripture reference to Satan as prince of darkness,

“In time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the PRINCE OF THE POWER OF THE AIR, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience.” Ephesians 2:2.

“Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the PRINCE OF THIS WORLD BE CAST OUT.” John 12:31.

“Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the PRINCE OF THIS WORLD COMETH, and hath nothing in me.” John 14:30.

“Of judgment, because THE PRINCE OF THIS WORLD is judged.” John 16:11.

“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the RULERS OF THE DARKNESS OF THIS WORLD, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” Ephesians 6:12.

The context of that verse in Daniel 10:13 shows the prince of the kingdom of Persia, here talking about Satan as prince of this sinful world. And how he, Satan was trying to influence the powers of the Persian empire to show disfavor to the Jews, God’s people then who had partially returned from exile. While God’s angels worked on God’s people behalf, dark forces were trying to work against them. For three weeks, the angel Gabriel struggled against the powers of darkness working on Cyrus mind. Cyrus here is the king of Persia. But later on, Christ Himself, the Prince of light came to Gabriel’s aid and the victory was gained on behalf of God’s people. And the dark forces were kept under control. The Scripture texts says, “But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia.” Daniel 10:13.

3) Jude 1:9: “Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee” Jude 1:9.

Many people while trying to defend their belief of Michael as the leader of angels typically use this texts to bring some strong arguments. First they say that because Michael is an angel and not God, he couldn’t rebuke or cast out demons or the devil like Jesus who is God and who did a lot of miracles in His own authority in the Gospel. Secondly, they say because Michael used the words “the Lord rebuke you” rather than I rebuke you or get behind me, and so, that means he is not God as he doesn’t have the right to judge nor condemn. Another significant argument they say about Michael is that he is typically identified as an archangel and never identified directly as Christ.

The real and true context of Jude 1:9 talks about how Christ, the Prince of light and the leader of holy angels came with His shining angels to Moses tomb to resurrect Moses body from the grave. But Satan and his evil angels came to dispute Christ on account of Moses sin. But Christ, rather than accuse Satan for his deceptions and temptations, He the Son of God referred all to His Father. Let’s put this at the back of our minds as we proceed to explain further.

Now, we’re going to look at this three arguments in the contexts of the whole Bible.

Firstly, the argument about Michael not being able to cast out demons like Jesus who did so severally in the Gospel;

Now from the contextual application of the texts, Jude 1:9 isn’t referencing “rebuke” as incasting of demons but rather as a means of reproof or correction for a wrong act. That context has nothing to do with casting of demons or devil. If Christ wanted devil to depart from him at that moment, he would have done that most easily. The context rather shows Christ refusing to enter a controversy with Satan and his accusations and the text uses Christ’s example to discourage Christians against judgmental and condemning accusations.

Here is the whole context from Jude 1:8 – 10; “Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities. Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee. But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves.” Jude 1:8 – 10.

Secondly, the arguments on how Michael used the words, “the Lord rebuke you” rather than I rebuke you or get behind me because Michael isn’t God and doesn’t have the right to judge or condemn; In a similar Bible context, David referred to Jesus and God the Father both as Lord. The Scripture says, “The LORD said to my Lord, “Sit at My right hand, unill I make thine enemies thy footstool.”” Psalms 110:1. It’s Christ who sits at the right hand of the Father interceding with His blood on our behalf in heaven.

The Bible context in Jude 1:9 shows the Lord Jesus Christ who is identified as Michael here, refusing to enter into a controversy with Satan, but rather referred all to the Father whom Jesus identifies as Lord as David did for both Father and Son in Psalm 110:1. This context of Jude 1:9 proves that it’s Christ who sits at the right hand of the throne in heaven as High Priest and the same Christ is the leader of holy angels.

Thirdly, the weak and shallow argument of Michael not being directly addressed as Christ;

This argument can be easily proven wrong when you highlight the fact that Scripture is to be understood contextually and in its wholeness.

The word “archangel” is used to signify when Christ is with His holy angels. Archangel in 1 Thessalonians 4:16 as is the case in Jude 1:9 is talking about Christ, the Prince of light in company with His holy angels. It doesn’t mean Christ is an angel, it means Christ is the head or leader of holy or unfallen angels. Voice of the Archangel is also very significant as its Christ voice that the dead hears and rise from their graves at His second coming and not an angel’s voice. Scripture says;

“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven WITH A SHOUT, with the VOICE OF THE ARCHANGEL, and with the TRUMP OF GOD: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.” 1 Thessalonians 4:16 – 17.

“And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the SPIRIT OF HIS MOUTH, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming.” 2 Thessalonians 2:8.

“Our God shall come, and SHALL NOT KEEP SILENCE: A fire shall devour before him, and it shall be very tempestuous round about him. HE SHALL CALL to the heavens from above, And to the earth, that he may judge his people. Gather my saints together unto me; Those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice.” Psalm 50:3 – 5.

“And the LORD shall UTTER HIS VOICE before his army: for his camp is very great: for he is strong that executeth his word: for the day of the LORD is great and very terrible; and who can abide it?” Joel 2:11.

4) Daniel 12:1: “At that time shall Michael stand up, the great Prince which standeth for the children of thy people” Daniel 12:1.

The context here is very elaborate, but in summary, its takes us down to a time when probation closes. Here, Christ stands from His throne as High Priest and comes for His faithful ones to fulfill His promises to them. When Christ stands from the throne of grace as High Priest, there are no more conversion, no more mercy nor grace in the world again and probation closes.

It is when Christ stand from the throne of grace that probation closes and the withdrawal of divine grace is what causes a time of trouble. But Christ protects His people during the time of trouble and later comes literally and vividly to deliver His people from the world. Christ comes to gather His faithful ones of all ages to reign in a glorious kingdom with Him forever. Scripture says,

And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.” Daniel 12:1 – 3.

“Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I ALSO WILL KEEP THEE FROM THE HOUR OF TEMPTATION, WHICH SHALL COME UPON ALL THE WORLD, to try them that dwell upon the earth. Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.” Revelation 3:10 – 11.

“And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.” “Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, TILL WE HAVE SEALED THE SERVANTS OF OUR GOD IN THEIR FOREHEADS.” Revelation 7:1, 3.

“He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. And, behold, I come quickly; AND MY REWARD IS WITH ME, TO GIVE EVERY MAN ACCORDING AS HIS WORK SHALL BE.” Revelation 22:11 – 12.

“When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: and before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: AND HE SHALL SET THE SHEEP ON HIS RIGHT HAND, but the goats on the left.” Matthew 25:31 – 33.

“Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I WILL COME AGAIN, AND RECEIVE YOU UNTO MYSELF; that where I am, there ye may be also.” John 14:1 – 3.

There is a similar illustration in the Bible of Christ standing from a throne of grace to illustrate withdrawal of divine grace and close of probation. That happened with the Jews in the time of Christ first coming.

During Christ first coming, after Christ was rejected and crucified by the Jews, our most merciful God still gave opportunity to the Jews for repentance. But later, after three and a half years of Christ crucifixion, Stephen was seized by the Jews. And while preaching and inviting the Jews to accept the grace of Christ, the Jews rejected his message and stoned him to death. By the killing of Stephen, the Jews sealed their rejection of the gospel and were rejected as a people. Afterwards, the gospel message was given to the gentiles by the disciples. The disciples “were scattered abroad” by persecution and “went everywhere preaching the word.” Acts 8:4. Stephen was the first Christian martyr and the time of his death marked the end of the probationary time granted the Jews in the book of Daniel. It says,

“Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.” Daniel 9:24.

At this time, the Jews had lost their time of grace. Christ had stood up from the throne of grace on behalf of the Jews. Christ was no longer sitting on the throne of grace and pleading on behalf of the Jews as the chosen, blessed people in whom He committed His sacred oracle to pass to the world. Then, the gospel message was given to the world and no longer restricted to the chosen people. At Stephen’s death, he saw something very significant. He says, ” Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the SON OF MAN STANDING on the right hand of God” Acts 7:56.

And Christ who’s God and High Priest and identified as Son of Man standing from a throne of grace in the verse above, Acts 7:56, is the same Christ who’s identified in Daniel 12:1 as Michael who is also standing from a throne of grace. Scripture says,

“At that time shall MICHAEL STAND UP, the great Prince which standeth for the children of thy people” Daniel 12:1.

5) Daniel 10:21: “But I will shew thee that which is noted in the scripture of truth: and there is none that holdeth with me in these things, but Michael your Prince.” Daniel 10:21.

The text shows Michael who’s typically identified as Prince is Jesus, the Prince of heaven who sits at God’s right hand and intercede on behalf of His saints. Michael the Prince isn’t an angel but rather is the Son of God. Scripture says,

“Him God has exalted to His RIGHT HAND TO BE PRINCE AND SAVIOR, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins.” Acts 5:31 NKJV.

“At that time shall MICHAEL STAND UP, the great Prince which standeth for the children of thy people” Daniel 12:1.

“Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is SET ON THE RIGHT HAND OF THE THRONE of the Majesty in the heavens; a minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man.” Hebrews 8:1 – 2.

“My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have AN ADVOCATE WITH THE FATHER, Jesus Christ the righteous.” 1 John 2:1.

“Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto GOD BY HIM, SEEING HE EVER LIVETH TO MAKE INTERCESSION for them.” Hebrews 7:25.

Also, in Hebrews 1:3 – 14 where Christ is differentiated from the angels. The chapter says, “Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, SAT DOWN ON THE RIGHT HAND OF THE MAJESTY ON HIGH.” “For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, This day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, And he shall be to me a Son?” “But to which of the angels said he at any time, SIT ON MY RIGHT HAND, Until I make thine enemies thy footstool?” Hebrews 1:3, 5, 13. The chapter proves Michael who is Prince and sits on a throne in heaven identifies more as Christ rather than an angel.

There’s much more to these truths on Jesus as Michael…

Here’s an inspiration from a true testimony of Jesus. A true Biblical gift of prophecy declares,

“Houses and lands will be of no use to the saints in the time of trouble, for they will then have to flee before infuriated mobs, and at that time their possessions cannot be disposed of to advance the cause of present truth. I was shown that it is the will of God that the saints should cut loose from every encumbrance before the time of trouble comes, and make a covenant with God through sacrifice. If they have their property on the altar and earnestly inquire of God for duty, He will teach them when to dispose of these things. Then they will be free in the time of trouble and have no clogs to weigh them down. I saw that if any held on to their property and did not inquire of the Lord as to their duty, He would not make duty known, and they would be permitted to keep their property, and in the time of trouble it would come up before them like a mountain to crush them, and they would try to dispose of it, but would not be able.”

We encourage you to support our ministry so that we would be able to share and spread the pure truth of God’s word that’s so needed in this end times. Check out below a Yoruba film production titled “Ola” (wealth) from our Christian brand that encourages the right use of the resources and privileges that the Lord has committed to those He sees fit to bless with wealth and riches. The Lord from whom all blessings flows from wants us to use His provisions to help the needy and the poor, and for the spread and furtherance of His noble truth cause. All in fulfillment of His merciful purposes and for the blessing of humanity.

Scripture says,

“And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully: and he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits? And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods. And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry. But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided? So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.” Luke 12:16 – 21.

Whenever the gospel is preached in its purity and truthfulness, there, the power of the Holy Spirit will accompany the pure truths of God. “However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth.” John 16:13. And effects and outcome through the Holy Spirit power will be seen in the elevation and blessing of humanity that can never be achieved by earthly or human power.

The message of the pure gospel alone has the power to bless humanity. The solution for the sins, griefs and sufferings of men is Christ only. Selfishness and the evils that curse the community and mankind can be eliminated only through submission to Christ and the implant of a new heart of love through the grace of Christ.

It’s Satan that inspires selfishness, to get, to gain and to live for self. And whosoever lives for self has renounced or dismissed God, the source of life and His love that works in benefit to humankind or to others. “And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.” 1 John 5:11 – 12. To live for self is to destroy life away from the soul.

But Christ inspires love. To help, to give and to sacrifice for others. Let the followers of Christ work as Christ did for the benefit of humanity, and the wretched, blind, poor etc. will find in Christ sight, riches and healing of the mind. Christ will accept, relieve and cleanse all that come to Him earnestly and in sincerity. And His love will uplift and bless humanity than anything the world can afford. Whatever the need that whosoever the hungering spirit seeks, will find in Christ the fullest fulfillment and satisfaction.

Christ says, “My kingdom is not of this world.” John 18:36. To follow Christ means to renounce the idolatrous devotion to the things of this world; to renounce the worship of this world’s vain and sinful allurements. We need to hear Christ’s voice, have an advanced knowledge of His pure truth, give our heart to His obedience and serve and love Him only and above all. And His blessings will follow those that heed His call and stay true and faithful to His holy name. He who risk all things and shed His blood and gave Himself for us is willing to do “exceeding abundantly above all we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,” so long as we come to Him with a sincere heart. Ephesians 3:20. “He that spared not his own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things” Romans 8:32.

“Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.” 2 Peter 1:4.

“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” Matthew 6:33.

“By the word of Thy lips I have kept me from the paths of the destroyer.” Psalm 17:4.

“Thy word have I hid in mine heart, That I might not sin against thee.” Psalm 119:11.
