The Reason” is an Afrobeat Gospel song by Moyin Omidiji, an independent gospel music artist and a practicing medical doctor. Born and bred in Nigeria, Moyin moved to the UK in the late 2018 with his family in search of a new experience.
Born into a family of four boys, Moyin has always loved music since his childhood days, but he only became actively involved in music in his University days when he joined his fellowship choir (NCCMDS). His passion for music continued to grow gradually and by late 2019 he started composing and writing music of his own.
Moyin’s debut album is an EP of five songs titled “The Shephered”, released on the 17th of February 2022. Having released some more albums since then such as No One Else, Thanking you (and the remix), Sovereign God, Egberun Ahon (remix), The Shepherd (remix), Don’t give up, Forever, Owo mi l’oke, and now, The Reason, his passion for gospel music has continued to grow.
