Ekiye, fondly known as the “Prince of the Niger Delta,” is celebrated

Before answering the call to the music ministry, Ekiye pursued a career as
an Accountant, serving as a Finance Executive and later as an auditor in
a chartered accountancy firm. He eventually heeded his calling, leading
to the release of his award-winning album “Back to Base” with the
standout track “Woekilemo.” In December 2001
Ekiye stands as a multi-award-winning gospel musician of great renown.
Notably, he received the Channel O Best African Gospel Artiste award
consecutively, demonstrating his exceptional talent and impact.
