TOPIC: A New Brain [Open Heaven for Teens 15 December 2021]

MEMORISE: If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. James 1:5

READ: James 1:5-6

  1. If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
  2. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Amos 4-6, Revelation 6:1-17

MESSAGE:

Many a time, when the enemy wants to hurt a parent, he afflicts the child. There was a boy whose parents are both Professors. He was expected to be a genius but his brain was dead. He always took the last position in his class. When the class attendance increased from 30 to 35, his position moved from 30th to 35th. His parents employed private tutors, bought educational materials and electronic gadgets to aid him but he kept failing. They brought him to Jesus and we prayed a simple prayer. The following term, he came first in his class. Everyone, including his teachers doubted it and asked that he rewrite the exam alone in the presence of his parents. To their surprise, he scored higher marks.

God has spare parts in heaven; He can create even if He does not have. There is nothing He cannot do. All you need to do is ask. Have you been failing examinations? I decree that the Lord will give you a new brain today in Jesus’ name.

ACTION POINT:
Spend 10 minutes to pray for your academics today.

HYMN: Breathe On Me Breath Of God

  1. Breathe on me, Breath of God,
    Fill me with life anew,
That I may love what Thou dost love,
And do what Thou wouldst do.
  2. Breathe on me, Breath of God,
    Until my heart is pure,
Until with Thee I will one will,
    To do and to endure.
  3. Breathe on me, Breath of God;
    Till I am wholly Thine,
Until this earthly part of me
    Glows with Thy fire divine.
  4. Breathe on me, Breath of God,
    So shall I never die,
But live with Thee the perfect life
    Of Thine eternity.
