TOPIC: How To Stay Continually Filled With The Holy Spirit (II) (Mountain Of Fire and Miracle Ministries, MFM Devotional 7 February 2022)
BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Leviticus 1–3; Matthew 24:1–28
FIRE SCRIPTURE: John 7:37-39 (KJV)
37 In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.
38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
39 (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)
MEMORY VERSE: “And it came to pass, when they were gone over, that Elijah said unto Elisha, Ask what I shall do for thee, before I be taken away from thee. And Elisha said, I pray thee, let a double portion of thy spirit be upon me.” – 2 Kings 2:9

Mountain Top Life MESSAGE:
As a believer, after you might have experienced your personal Pentecost and got filled with the Holy Spirit, it is your responsibility to keep your lamp burning and to stir up the precious empowerment of the Holy Spirit that is in you. Let us examine some of the ways you can successfully do this.
First, you have to thank God for your initial filling with the Holy Spirit. You also need to ask for His help to daily stir up in you and fan into flame that abiding anointing of the Spirit in your life and ministry. You should ask for a greater measure of God’s Spirit and anointing everyday.

Second, you must thirst for the Living Water’s overflow, not just a glassful. You must passionately and wholeheartedly seek the Holy Ghost fire, not just a flickering candle. You need to drink deeply. Don’t just sip. Our Fire Scripture for today buttresses this point: “In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)”
The third way you can stay continuously filled with the Holy Spirit is to make a decision to walk in obedience to God every day. The Bible says that God freely gives the Spirit to those who hear and obey Him. In this context, two important admonitions of the Lord are relevant. In the first, Jesus said that whoever would come after Him should deny himself and take up His cross daily and follow Him (Luke 9:23). The second one enjoins you to present your body as a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto Him, which is your reasonable service (Romans 12:1).
Dearly beloved, if you take these key steps, you will stay continually filled with the Holy Spirit, your oil will never run dry and your fire will never go out, in the Name of Jesus.

- Father, I thirst for the Living Water; give me a great drink of Him, in the Name of Jesus.
- I reject powerlessness, lukewarmness and apathy, in the Name of Jesus.
- My Father, bring anointed men and women around me who will help my impartation, in the Name of Jesus.

- My Father, endue me with Your power and authority, in the Name of Jesus.
- I connect my life to the socket of favour, in the Name of Jesus.
- Power to run through the troop and leap over the wall, fall upon my life, in the Name of Jesus.
- Anointing of invincibility, dominion and excellence, fall upon my life, in the Name of Jesus.
