Champions League final: Ronaldinho, Drogba, Fabregas react as Chelsea defeat Man City

Barcelona legend, Ronaldinho, has congratulated Chelsea for beating Manchester City to win this year’s Champions League.

Chelsea defeated Man City 1-0 to win their first Champions League trophy since 2012 on Saturday night in Portugal.

Kai Havertz scored the match’s only goal in the 42nd minute after Chelsea split open Man City’s defence with a counter-attack.

Reacting, Ronaldinho applauded Chelsea defender, Thiago Silva and all the Brazilians who participated in winning the Champions League for the Blues.

Ronaldinho wrote on Twitter, “Congratulations @ChelseaFC to my friend @tsilva3 and the Brazilians who participated in this great achievement #UCLfinal.”

Also reacting, former Chelsea stars, Didier Drogba and Cesc Fabregas also paid tributes to Thomas Tuchel’s men for defeating Pep Guardiola’s side.

Fabregas tweeted, “CHAMPIONS OF EUROPE!! What a phenomenal effort from Chelsea tonight. I have no words…. What a result @themichaelowen and @yayatoure.”

On his part, Drogba wrote, “When they called us the underdogs, we played like CHAMPIONS @ChelseaFC @ChampionsLeague. We believed. Yesssssss mon frère never give up so proud of you @ToniRuediger.”
