PRESS KIT: Music is way more than a shabby arrangement of sounds and words to sustain a mood for the Nigerian-born Oyije. To Oyije for Africa, it is a call to share the message of her faith and trust in the saving grace of our Lord Jesus. The “Provider” crooner has continued to serenade her listeners with seasoned lyrics wrapped in the most catchy melodies, stamping the distinct sound of House Music in hearts and keeping heads nodding for the longest. She had us covered since her last release  “Cover Me” with Dj Horphuray & Lamb Culture in January.

It’s March 15 and New Music Friday never felt better with Lamb Culture hosting the new Oyije, out everywhere music is available.
It is always a pleasure having our ears itch in anticipation as we can tell that our expectations will be met yet at the same time, wondering what the new music will sound like because the music always feels fresh.

“Fresh” is the word that comes to mind on first listening to “All Night, All Day”. “Fresh” also because we have the collaborative vocal effort of one of afrogospel’s finest gifts, A Mose on this chill mid-tempo Afrobeat vibe, produced by the hit-making expertise of Rehmahz. This is a collaboration we have missed since Oyije ft A Mose – Balance. (2020)

“I’ve been looking nonstop
Be like nothing wan sub, ma pariwo”

The first lines of this masterpiece have Oyije in brief lamentation, in a place of seeming doubt that is soon converted to confidence just a few beat counts away from where you hear a beautiful horn sound that signals an invitation to the chorus. She is now heard expressing assurance in the ever-present help she has found God to be, in truth. You hear the soothing repetition;

“All Night, All Day”

that carmly introduces A Mose with that signature majestic adlib. A closing verse that emphasizes an important angle, how we relate to the assurance we now have in this truth that God never leaves His own.

From a place of helplessness to a place of comfort and confidence, the song is a reminder that God keeps His own and keeps His word. Through thick and thin, highs and lows, and everything in between.
