PRESERVATION AND POWER COMMUNION SERVICE
ANCHOR SCRIPTURE(S): COLOSSIANS 3:1-3
MESSAGE TOPIC: PRESERVATION IN CHRIST

SERVICE OBJECTIVES:
- Understanding the basis of our preservation in Christ
- Understanding how to establish our preservation in Christ
We live in a world of multiplied darkness and wickedness; a world with an increase in unbelievable dimensions of evil – infested with kidnappers, ritual killers, armed robbers, cultists and occultists, terrorists; and this evil is multiplied because the devil knows that his time is short (Rev. 12:12)
We are here tonight because we cannot afford to live at the mercy of the disaster of the times; we must know what the provision of God for His people in times like these is in order to be able to tap into the benefits of those provisions
We are not born again just to escape hell and have a ticket to go to heaven. The good news is, godliness is profitable in this world as well as in the next (1Tim. 4:8; Heb. 6:9)
When you come to Christ, apart from escaping hell, there are earthly benefits of salvation such as:
BENEFITS THAT ACCOMPANY SALVATION:
1. Divine Health (Heb. 6:9; 1Pet. 2:24; Matt. 8:17)
2. Supernatural supplies (Rev. 5:12; 2Cor. 8:9)
3. Divine Preservation (Col. 3:3)
The things that can access, confront and conquer you must first access, confront and conquer God
You are available but not accessible; you are visible but not reachable
No one with breath in their nostrils is permitted to determine how long you live.

THE PRACTICALITY OF OUR PRESERVATION IN CHRIST:
1. We are preserved by His life (John 1:12,16; 1John 4:4; Gal. 2:20; 1Cor. 6:17; Eph. 1:23; John 17:18; Heb. 12:2; John 10:18; Luke 4:28-30; John 8:58-59)
We share in His life which is indestructible
Whatever filled Christ has filled us – He has the life of God in Him, so we have the life of God in us
Inside you is your Maker, Creator and Saviour
Anything that can’t be said of Christ cannot be said of you
Jesus is the manifestation of your expected destination
If nobody can take Jesus’ life from Him and you have the same life of Christ in you, why are you afraid that a man can take your life from you? (John 19:10-11)
No witch or killer has any power over your life
You are destined to walk through danger unhurt (Ps. 23:4)
You have a life, the life of Christ, that can pass through danger unnoticed and unharmed!
2. We are preserved by His power (Luke 10:19; Rom. 8:11)
The power of God is given to you to deal with the devil and to proceed without consequence
The power of God is given to you to vitalise, energise, irrigate and animate your body (Rom. 8:11)
3. We are preserved by His death (John 18:3-9; Heb. 2:9)
Every time you saw Christ agreed to die, it was a transaction concluded in order for you to live (John 18:3-9)
Your Saviour only agreed to die if death and destruction would allow you to go your way; since He has died, you and all His followers can now go your way
Christ died young for you to live long; He died dangerously so you can live gloriously; He died a painful death so you can live a pain-free life; He died violently so you can live victoriously (Heb. 2:9)
4. We are preserved by Resurrection (Eph. 1:19-23; 2:6)
The resurrection of Christ gives the believer the capacity to sit far beyond the reach of the devil
You are in the celestial, higher than every terrestrial operation (Eph. 1:21)
WHAT DO WE DO TO ACCESS THIS PRESERVATION?
1. By access to Light and Truth from the Word (John 1:1-5; John 17:17; Ps. 91:4)
Every revelation embraced from the Word is a Personality of Jesus Christ and that Personality is Light and the Light is perceivable by agents of darkness
The revelation of the Word in your spirit forms a shield of defence around your life from both spiritual and physical arrows
2. By the building of strong faith from the Word (Jude 1:20; Hab. 2:4; Eph. 6:16; 1John 5:4)
You use the Word to calculate your utterance, organise your moves and steps, and to suffocate fear because fear is the antagonist of faith
When God sees your faith He moves on your behalf to confirm that you have not believed in vain
Every time you are challenged, charge your faith until you come to a fresh level of audacity; and anytime you are charged, you take charge
3. By continuous activation of the life of Christ in you through the Communion (John 6:54-57)
As Christ is sustained by the Father who sent Him, anyone who eats the Body of Christ is sustained by Christ
PRAYERS:
Father, give us peace in Nigeria by all means, in Jesus’ Name.
Master Jesus, thank You for Your life in me that preserves me, thank You for Your Power in me that preserves me; thank You for Your resurrection that preserves me; thank You because I am preserved by Your life, power, death, and resurrection.
Father, thank You for the Communion that is to activate your life in me.
COMMUNION FOCUS:
- I prophesy the very life of Christ that sustains Him is communicated via this communion; the power of the Spirit of God is communicated via the communion, the power of His death – all He died to purchase for you is released to you via this communion; the power of His resurrection be transmitted into your life by this communion. Every health-threatening and life-threatening condition is flushed out of your system now. You shall fulfil your days. Every negative medical report is cancelled and turned into a positive medical report. I decree you are untouchable, ‘unhurtable’ and ‘unharmable!’
ANOINTING FOCUS (PSALM 105:14-15; 92:10):
- Tonight, this Anointing Oil places a weapon of war upon your forehead. In the month of September, you are untouchable, unharmable, unquenchable, and indestructible. By the reason of this Oil, we declare fire against every agent of destruction and death
PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS:
- Whatever is yours, no matter how long it takes, it is returning back to you!
- Everything missing around you is recovered.
- There shall be no loss in Jesus’ Name
- You will not die before your time
- You will not give birth to problem; your children will not be a source of challenge or pain to you in Jesus’ Name
- Whatever you are trusting God for, it is done
The Lord is stepping into your situation and taking over and changing the situation now! - Every sickness of weakness, today, they are roasted by fire!
- I prophesy energy, strength and vitality!
- You will do well, and no devil will be able to do anything about it!
