TOPIC: Miracles On The Street [Open Heaven for Teens 11 June 2021]

MEMORISE: How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. Acts 10:38

READ: Matthew 9:18-26

  1. While he spake these things unto them, behold, there came a certain ruler, and worshipped him, saying, My daughter is even now dead: but come and lay thy hand upon her, and she shall live.
  2. And Jesus arose, and followed him, and so did his disciples.
  3. And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind him, and touched the hem of his garment:
  4. For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole.
  5. But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour.
  6. And when Jesus came into the ruler’s house, and saw the minstrels and the people making a noise,
  7. He said unto them, Give place: for the maid is not dead, but sleepeth. And they laughed him to scorn.
  8. But when the people were put forth, he went in, and took her by the hand, and the maid arose.
  9. And the fame hereof went abroad into all that land.

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: 2 Chronicles 34-36, John 19:1-42

Few years ago, social media broadcast the testimony of a young girl, who is a member of our church in South-West Nigeria. She prayed for a mad man at the market square and he became well. Then, she was surrounded by a mob who was in great shock. In fact, the police had to calm the crowd and lead the lady out peacefully due to the large crowd that gathered in wonder. I was glad when I watched the news. I am grateful to God that He is raising young people who will cause a great revival in this end time. You can be one of them too. John 14:12 says:

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on Me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.”

When Jesus was on earth, He went about doing the work of His Father. Don’t be a lackadaisical child of God who only shouts Amen!, Halleluyah! and claim prophecies in the church. You have the power to do greater works than Jesus. So, share the truth you know on the streets and perform miracles in His name.

Go to the streets, evangelize and perform miracles.

  1. There shall be showers of blessing:
    This is the promise of love;
    There shall be seasons refreshing,
    Sent from the Saviour above.

Showers of blessing,
Showers of blessing we need:
Mercy-drops round us are falling,
But for the showers we plead.

  1. There shall be showers of blessing,
    Precious reviving again;
    Over the hills and the valleys,
    Sound of abundance of rain.
  2. There shall be showers of blessing;
    Send them upon us, O Lord;
    Grant to us now a refreshing,
    Come, and now honour Thy Word.
  3. There shall be showers of blessing:
    Oh, that today they might fall,
    Now as to God we’re confessing,
    Now as on Jesus we call!
  4. There shall be showers of blessing,
    If we but trust and obey;
    There shall be seasons refreshing,
    If we let God have His way.
