The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) swiftly responded to the President’s warning asking him to stop
trading blames but should rather face the security challenges bedeviling the country.

National Publicity Secretary of the PDP, Kola Ologbondiyan, made the assertion on Tuesday during an interview.

Similarly, a Nigerian socio-political activist, Aisha Yusuf said the statement was a threat of civil war against the people of the South-East.

She made this known in a tweet on her verified Twitter handle on Wednesday.

Any threat to the Igbo people is a threat to me.

@Donteewrites: On a day like this, I shed a silent tear in memory of Yinka Odumakin, he would have responded to Buhari’s threat to Igbos even though he was a Yoruba man, he was such a pure Nationalist. Odumakin is a man of courage! Rest on Comrade.

@General_Somto: As Usual, the five Idiots parading themselves as Southeast governors won’t even respond to the threat by president Buhari to start another genocide against the Igbos. These so-called Igbo Governors/Leaders are the main problems we have in the South East. incompetent Fulani slaves!
