Following the success of her hit debut single and official music video “Thank You” in April 2018, creative singer, songwriter and passionate worshipper, Tope Ilori kick starts her 2019 musical journey with the release of a new single titled “Ayo” (Joy) and a lovely official music video to go with it.
According to Tope:
“The greatest Joy (AYO) of all is the joy of salvation, which is unending. So amidst life challenges, trials and chaos, one can still find inner peace, gladness and contentment where the Joy of salvation (Ayo Igbala) is present.
“There may be happiness derived in having life accomplishments and successes relating to material things. But there is a greater joy that surpasses all: That is what “Ayo” is all about – The Joy of salvation.”
The audio was produced by John Tosin and the video directed by Akin Alabi.

ABOUT TOPE ILORI
Tope Ilori is an ambitious, talented and creative singer, songwriter and a worshipper who leads the Gospel Sonorous Band. She had been resident in the United Kingdom where she was able to achieve series of academic excellence.
She has at every stage of her life been in music, from leading the children choir to teenage choir, school choir and church choirs. To the glory of God, she has written several songs for choirs she had belonged to and for the band she leads.
Tope’s ultimate motive is to worship and praise God, and also to inspire and lead others in the art of worship and praise to God.
