4 Ways to Achieve Your Goals In November

The start of the month is the perfect time to step back and think about if your daily actions are bringing you closer to what your long-term goals are. At the start of each month, take an hour or so to brainstorm your big goals for the month and break it down into actionable items.

1: Set 5 Goals for Yourself This Month
First and foremost, you need to determine what your top 5 goals are for the new month. Make sure that these goals are achievable and doable for your schedule. So for example, if you want to start working out more and typically workout once a week – having a goal of working out 7 days a week probably won’t happen. Setting a goal of working out 3-4 times per week is more achievable and then the next month you can increase it to 7 days a week!

2: Write Down Important Tasks or Events You Need to Remember
If you have a big event coming up this month or a big task you need to work on, make sure to write this down at the beginning of the month so you have a reminder of what is coming up. Having these bigger to do’s written down ahead of time will help you stay on top of what you need to get done.

3: Come Up with Strategies to Achieve Your Goals
This is probably one of the most important things to do when writing down your monthly goals. After you determine your goals for the month, you need to figure out HOW you’re going to achieve them. Writing down some strategies you plan on implementing is crucial to successfully achieve your goals. It is well worth spending the time to figure out what strategies you want to start using to achieve your goals.

4: Write Down a Motivational Quote to Keep You Inspired
Last but not least, write down a motivational quote that will continue to inspire you throughout the month and reminds you of your goals. You all know from my previous posts how much I love inspirational quotes, so I always like to find one that I really like for the new month to keep me motivated!
